Troubleshooting
The video won't download
Check that you pasted a link to a single pin (the URL should contain /pin/), not a board, profile, or search page. If the link is right, try again in a few seconds — Pinterest's servers occasionally respond slowly. And if the pin is a photo rather than a video, run it through the image and video downloader linked above.
It's a private or deleted pin
SortPin fetches videos in real time from Pinterest, so the pin must be publicly visible. Pins on secret boards, deleted pins, and region-blocked content cannot be fetched. A quick test: open the link in a private browsing window while logged out — if you can't see it there, no downloader can retrieve it.
I have a pin.it short link

The download plays without sound in some players
